Section 1 Pricing and Payment
a. The listed prices are exclusive of VAT which shall be set at the rate on the date of ordering/invoicing.
b. Although the Period House Store will ensure prices are up to date, it reserves the right to apply price changes without notice.
c. All goods shall remain the property of the Period House Store until paid for in full.
d. Payment of invoice shall be due within 30 days of the date of invoice and prior to dispatch of goods unless otherwise agreed with the Period House Store.
e. All bespoke items must be paid for in full upon ordering unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Section 2 Bespoke Items
a. The Purchaser is responsible for providing dimensions and the Period House Store will only provide approximate dimensions of goods as the final dimensions of bespoke goods can vary slightly. All specifications are approximate and the Period House Store shall have no liability in respects to deviations from those specifications.
b. The Period House Store will not be held liable for any damage or losses incurred by the Purchaser for the installation of goods prior to delivery, i.e. pipework and frameworks.
c. For painted or finished goods, the Period House Store gives no guarantee that the colour and finish will accord precisely to the advertised colour and the Purchaser accepts that there can be variation.
d. Colour matching, the Period House Store will endeavour to match colours/finishes, yet will not be held responsible for any differences in colour, shade or finish of the finished product.
e. The Period House Store reserves the right to substitute equivalent goods should it deem necessary.
Section 5 Delivery
a. Delivery dates are approximate and no liability is accepted in respect to late deliveries.
b. The Period House Store will contact the Purchaser to 2-3days prior to dispatch to arrange a suitable delivery date.
c. The Purchaser shall be deemed to have accepted the goods 24 hours after the delivery.
d. The Period House Store cannot be held responsible for any damages occurring after delivery.
e. Claim for transit damage will not be accepted where the delivery note has been marked as unchecked or in good condition. The Purchaser must note the conditions of the goods upon delivery; at the time of delivery any damages noted and endorsed on the delivery/dispatch note.
f. The Purchaser must submit a detailed claim in writing (including photographic evidence (where applicable)) within 3 days of the receipt of goods, accompanied by the endorsed original delivery note. Subsequent investigation(s) must be allowed by the interested parties
g. Should any items be placed on backorder, the Period House Store will endeavour to supply the goods as soon as possible; however, the Period House Store will not be liable for any delays in the delivery.
Section 4 Guarantee of Goods
a. Radiators are guaranteed for a period of 10 years and valves for 1 year from the invoice date to be free from any manufacturing defects. The Period House Store will repair/replace any goods with manufacturing/workmanship defects.
b. Any incurred labour or installation costs is the responsibility of the Purchaser.
c. The guarantee is only valid with proof of purchase.
d. The Period House Store is not liable for any consequential loss caused directly or indirectly by any defective goods supplied.
Section 5 Returns and Credits
a. The Period House Store will accept the return of non-faulty goods if the goods are fit for purpose, unused and in the original packaging
b. The Purchaser is responsible for the cost of the return of goods. Delivery and carriage costs are non-refundable.
c. Refunds/Credits will be given within 30 days and where applicable a 20% restocking and administration charge will apply.
